"The Star-Spangled Banner" is the national anthem of the United States of America. It was made the US National Anthem by a Congressional resolution on March 3, 1931. One poll showed that 61% of Americans don't know all of the words to the song. Today, the anthem is performed before the beginning of all MLS, NBA, NFL, MLB and NHL.
