Epic Action Photos of Porcelain Figurines Shattering Against the Ground. For his project titled “Porcelain Figurines”, German photographer Martin Klimas dropped various porcelain figurines onto the ground from a height of 3 meters and set up a camera to capture photos triggered by the sound of the crash. Porcelain Figurines' is a project by German photographer Martin Klimas, who dropped various porcelain figurines onto the ground The result are razor-sharp images of exploding figurines frozen in time — “temporary sculptures made visible to the human eye by high-speed photography”.

Using materials that include stone clay, epoxy putty, copper line, plastic, and resin. For nearly a decade since the late 1970s artist Takanori Aiba worked as a maze illustrator He constructs sprawling miniature communities that wrap around bonsai trees, lighthouses, and amongst the cliffs of nearly vertical islands.

Artist Sean E. Avery creates amazing animal sculptures made from CD shards. If you're as talented as Australian artist Sean Avery, you could turn your old CDs into incredibly intricate animal sculptures. Sean Avery has found a novel use for a (near) obsolete media form. Instead of selling his old CDs for $1 a pop at the local pawn shop, Avery, who is both a sculptor and an illustrator, takes old cds and shatters them to create these shimmering works of art.

Internationally recognized French graffiti artist Tilt has created a mind-boggling interior design work titled ‘Panic Room’ inside the Au Vieux Panier hotel in Marseille, France. After we saw the incredible photos of the half graffiti hotel room at the Au Vieux Panier hotel in Marseille, The hotel has just five rooms that are annually reconceptualized by commissioned artists and designers, somewhat similar to NYC’s Carlton Arms. The Au Vieux Panier Hotel in Marseille, France, has worked with graffiti artist Tilt on the Half Graffiti Hotel Room. More photos here. Tilt divided the room perfectly down the middle, one half covered entirely in his trademark vibrant and bubbly graffiti and the other half left stark white.
